John 15:5

I am the vine, ye are the branches:  He that abideth in
Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit:
for without Me ye can do nothing.

John 15:5 is one of many Bible verses that make it abundantly clear that as a branch needs to stay
connected to the vine, drawing from it its life producing substance; likewise, you and I must stay connected
to Jesus. Jesus said, "…for without Me you can do nothing."
